Flowerpot Music in Tower Grove Park
Participation Form

“Flowerpot Music”, written by composer Elliot Cole is a composition for an unlikely but beautiful percussion instrument - the flowerpot! Bell-like tones are “passed” from performer to performer in improvised gestures called “blooms” that sweep through the outdoor space, creating an immersive soundscape.

Join us at 6pm at the Lily Pond in Tower Grove Park on international Make Music Day--Monday, June 21--and create outdoor soundscapes through easy-to-learn games, appropriate for musicians and non-musicians of all ages. Participants should attend one brief rehearsal to participate in the performance. Rehearsals will take place on Sunday, June 20 at 3pm or Monday, June 21 at 4:30pm. Simply complete this registration form to be a part of this special event and receive more info!

On Make Music Day, groups around the world will assemble in parks, fields and public squares, with safe social distance, to learn and then premiere the piece, specially composed for Make Music Day.  Everyone is welcome to join!
