One of the best tips for succeeding in writing articles on Medium is to write for a Medium Publication. One of the main reasons why I choose to write on Medium is the distribution to an audience. I don't want to publish to an empty audience, and Medium's network, and more recently, Boost, help me focus on writing excellent stories. Medium uses publications as a distinct way to gather like-minded audiences to whom I can post my content.
