 Nowruz, meaning "new day," is the Persian New Year and is celebrated by people of Iranian, Central Asian, and Middle Eastern descent worldwide, including in the USA. The guest speaker, Ehsan Aleaziz, will talk about how it is celebrated in the U.S., what are the main traditions and dishes, and the main public celebrations.
