We are attempting to organize a traveling group to attend the Story Catcher Writing Retreat in Gunnison, CO., July 19-22. Please visit www.storycatcherworkshop.org for details about the retreat.

If we can gather a group of up to FIVE CSC student writers, we can access Deans' Council funding to either pay for transport to Gunnison (a CSC Van) OR reimburse each student in the group that uses their own vehicle with the standard mileage rate for CSC-related travel (25 cents per mile).

We will also be able to cover your housing on the Western Colorado University Campus ($217) if we travel as a group. We also can commit full fee waivers for the workshop ($250)

We will need to know who is interested in this opportunity by APRIL 1, so please complete the following form no later than that date. We also need to reserve spots if there is interest before registration fills up.

Note: completing this form is NOT a commitment to travel or a guarantee of funding--rather, we will use the information to work with the interested individuals to arrange the travel and present our plan to the Dean's council for funding. Also, you can register for this workshop at the student rate at any time, and apply for a fee-waiver scholarship, but you can only access possible travel and housing funds if you follow the process on this form.
