Meet Lara Proud, Owner of Beyond The Bump and Registered Nurse
**Lara is currently not accepting new clients because of her own new baby but is working and consulting directly with her team to ensure you are receiving the best care possible.**
Lara is a Registered Nurse in the province of New Brunswick (License #: 028367).
Lara provides Birth, Postpartum, and Lactation Consulting to Southern New Brunswick (Fredericton and Saint John areas primarily).
Advocacy and education are two of Lara's priorities in her care. She strives to provide all of her clients with a sense of safety and comfort using evidence-based and trauma-informed models of care.
Lara is a Certified Heart and Stroke CPR Instructor, First-Aid Certified, Certified Lactation Counselor (and IBCLC candidate), Child Passenger Safety Technician ("Car Seat Tech"), and has 10 years of nursing experience in and out of hospital settings (Labour & Birth, Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, Community Perinatal Nursing). Lara also has previous taken specialized courses in: Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP). Advanced Cardiac Life Saving (ACLS), Trauma Nursing (TNCC), Pediatric Advanced Life Saving (PALS), and more - these are not currently active registrations.
