2023 Summer TLC Employment Application
*Please note that you must be a current SVUSD Child Care Services Employee to submit this application.

Job Requirements:
All applicants must be able to meet the requirements of the appropriate job descriptions found on the SVUSD Human Resources website. This position requires an availability to be scheduled between the hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, though no guarantee of total weekly hours can be made.

Time Off:
Employees may request up to two weeks off. Time off requests will be reviewed and approved by your assigned Summer Site Coordinator. Due to the need for a consistent weekly staff, time off should be taken off a full week at a time. 

If a partial week is requested off, every effort will be made to schedule you on your available days.
Please complete the Partial Week Time Off section of this form if you are requesting a partial week off. 

If you are an ELO employee, please make sure you have adequate vacation time to request time off for weeks 1 through 4. Your work-year calendar extends through June 30th.

Please note:
  • It is strongly recommended that travel commitments (plane tickets, reservations, etc.) not be made until time off requests are approved.
  • Summer Staffing Assignments will be shared April 17th - 21st via your SVUSD Email account and/or on-site communication. 

Important Dates:
  • Summer TLC Training: Friday, June 2nd 
  • First Day of Summer TLC: Monday, June 5th
  • Last Day of Summer TLC: Friday, August 4th
  • Fall TLC Prep Days: August 7th - 11th
