Clinical supervisors will conduct:- (1) one informal observation/post-observation conference (does not require an OCR) in early October.
- (2) two formal observations/post-observation conferences for each of their clinical interns in October and November. After each of the two (2) FORMAL observations/conferences, supervisors must complete this form.
Cooperating teachers will:
- formally observe their clinical intern during one (1) of the supervisor's formal observations (co-observation) and should participate in all post-observation conferences, if possible.
- independently complete this form after their one (1) FORMAL observation/post-observation conference with their intern's supervisor.
During Clinical Practice II (Jan.-April):
- Clinical supervisors will conduct six (6) formal observations/post-observation conferences for each of their clinical interns between January and April. After each of the six (6) formal observations/conferences, supervisors must complete this form.
- Cooperating teachers will formally observe their clinical intern during one (1) of the supervisor's formal observations (co-observation), typically in February or March, and should participate in all post-observation conferences, if possible
- Cooperating teachers must independently complete this form after their one (1) formal observation/post-observation conference with their intern's supervisor.
