Spring 2024 Mentee Application
Mentee applications for the Spring 2024 DRP are now closed. You are welcome to apply; however, there is no guarantee that we will be able to find you a mentor/reading project. You are also invited to apply again in a future DRP!

This application is for UGA undergraduates interested in participating in the Fall 2023 math DRP program. As a participant, you'll be paired up with a grad student or faculty mentor based on your interests, to work on a reading project. Your mentor will meet with you at least once a week to discuss your project with you. Outside of your meetings, you'll work on your project for at least four hours each week.

One goal of the DRP is to prepare a short (~10 minute) presentation on what you've learned, to be shared at a "DRP presentation day" at the end of the semester, along with other DRP students.

Late applications can sometimes be considered. Please reach out to paco@uga.edu or dhorne8@uga.edu if you have questions about the DRP or this form.

Please select which example projects sound interesting to you, to help us pair you up. Choosing a project here does not mean that you're committing to it!

Descriptions for most of these projects can be found here.

In addition, a couple of mentors have not given a specific project, but have offered to do a reading project related to their expertise. In this case, we have listed their names with links to their websites.
