Israel, the Start-Up Nation, is full of young talent with unique character. Arieli provides a cultural perspective, discussing the most important soft skills required for business leaders, entrepreneurs and other jobs of the future as defined by the World Economic Forum through a journey of Israeli childhood, from infancy to military service, showcasing the special Israeli entrepreneurial mindset and its surprising resemblance to the lifecycle of a business in its different stages: scale, efficiency, validation, discovery, renewal and sustainability. The keynote covers anecdotes and explanations provided in Arieli's book, Chutzpah and is an inspiring experience.

Key questions and insights

  • How can structure, setting and dynamics influence our creativity?
  • Is there an optimal balance between super strong talent and high-performing teams?
  • Does using best practices come with a price?
  • Is excellence overrated?
  • Why are most brainstorming sessions ineffective?
  • What is the value of not knowing the answers?
  • How can we help ourselves learn and grow from failures?
