This comprehensive 25-hour intermediate course is designed specifically for architecture students seeking to enhance their proficiency in Revit Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. Building upon fundamental knowledge, this course delves deeper into advanced techniques and features essential for architectural engineering projects. Through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, students will gain practical skills in architectural presentation, modeling, view management, site work, and custom component creation within the Revit environment.
Course Content (Topics):
1. Introduction to Building Information Modelling BIM and Revit.
2. Architectural Modelling using Revit.
3. Architectural presentation & drafting using Revit.
4. Topography, Toposolid, and site work.
5. Working in different views within the software.
6. Creating basic custom components and families.
