Join us on November 11, 2023 from 10-1:30pm at Fresh Press 2116 S Griffith Dr in Champaign
First, we'll have a crash course in western style papermaking: pulling sheets with the mould & deckle. Then we will use yupo, a thin plastic material, as a stencil. There will be other materials to experiment with and time for you to play with cutting your own shapes and patterns. You can bring lace, mesh, or similar materials that have open spaces for pulp paint to come through.
Your creations will need time to dry and you will be contacted to return within a week to pick up your new artworks! If needed we can arrange mailing them out.
