All students (even those returning from last season) are required to submit an application. All students  will need to fill out the application, get a teacher evaluation, and have a follow up interview with build and programming challenges. All this will be used by coaches to help determine which students will begin the 2024-2025 season.  All applications must be received by April 30th in order to be eligible for tryouts in May. Application must be complete to be considered.

Students and parents must read and agree to the following rules.
The robotics team has a “three-strike” policy that aligns with the Harmony Student Code of Conduct in the Handbook. Strike one: A verbal warning will be given to the student. Parents will be contacted at the end of practice to let them know of the issue.
Strike two: Parents will be contacted by the teacher and must pick up their child immediately. The student will not be allowed to return for the next meeting.
Strike three: Parents will be contacted by the teacher and must pick up their child immediately. The student will not be allowed to return for the remainder of the season.
Additionally, students must be picked up from practice on time. After 3 late pickups, student will be removed from the team for the remainder of the season.

Participation in Robotics requires a significant amount of time from August through Early March and potentially longer if team advances. List other activities during this time or throughout the year that may impact your involvement with the team.
