The Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA) states that when the annual budget is tabled, the municipality must consider any views of the local community. The residents have not been afforded this opportunity. By using this platform all residents have the opportunity to make input into the budget and IDP. The DA will make sure that all submissions reach the Municipality to inform the budget.
