Ho‘opili ‘Ai Farm to School Sampler Box Request Form (School Year 2024-2025)
Please use this form to request sponsorship of one or more farm to school sampler boxes for your classroom or school (free of charge). Click on the links for details about each sampler box type. 

Please note, sponsored boxes are available on a first come first served basis pending availability of funds; you may also consider asking your PTA, principal or parents to purchase boxes directly (via links below), or to donate a box here: https://eatbreadfruit.com/collections/donate. Our current funding source gives priority to Hawai‘i Island schools; requests from other schools will be considered and fulfilled as funding allows.

Box Options:

Classroom Box: includes 25 take-home bags (each bag contains 12 oz. of recipe-ready, frozen food for students to take home, with recipe cards): https://eatbreadfruit.com/products/f2s-classroom-box

Culinary Box: includes 25 lbs. of recipe-ready, frozen food to be prepared into 200 samples (2 oz. each) by a culinary program or school cafeteria [OUTSIDE of school meals]: https://eatbreadfruit.com/products/f2s-culinary-box

Choose from four different crops, pending current availability: kalo (taro), 'uala (sweet potato), pala‘ai (pumpkin), and/or ʻulu (breadfruit).

  • September - mīkana (papaya)
  • October (Farm to School Month) - ʻuala (sweet potato)
  • November - pala‘ai (pumpkin)
  • December - ʻulu (breadfruit)
  • January - kalo (taro)
  • February - mai‘a (banana)
  • March - ‘ohana ‘ālani (citrus)
  • April - pea (avocado)
  • May - pāpapa (green beans)
