NJBS Volunteer Form

Volunteers are vital to the operation of our annual premier event, the National Junior Brangus Show (NJBS). The IJBBA graciously requests your assistance in helping us make this year’s NJBS one of the best. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the form below and check which areas interest you. An IJBBA Director or Advisor will be in touch with additional information prior to the event.

Due to Covid 19, some contests are being held virtually. If you cannot attend, but would like to volunteer to be a virtual contest official, please fill out the form below.

What areas are you interested in assisting with? *

Contest Official: Contest Officials assist in judging, scoring or monitoring contests. We request that contest officials not have children or family participating in the contests in which they are asked to assist. Contests are held Monday – Friday.

Decorations/Set-Up Committee: Decorations/Set-up volunteers will be asked to assist with setting up show and banquet decorations as well as well as hanging banners, making exhibitor packets, etc. Set-Up Days are Sunday, Monday, & Friday.

Welcome Station Committee: Welcome Station Volunteers greet exhibitors at the fairgrounds entry gate and direct them where to go. Volunteers are needed on Sunday and Monday.

Lunch Monitors/Servers: Lunch Monitors will assist with checking lunch passes and ensuring no one goes through the line more than once. They may also be asked to assist with serving the meal. Lunch Monitors are needed Monday – Friday.

Clean-Up Committee: Clean-Up Committee will assist with cleaning up after each meal, event/contest, and helping to take down decorations at the end of the week. Clean-up committee will be needed Monday – Friday.

Office/Feed Store Assistance: Office/Feed Store Assistants will be needed to man the NJBS office assisting with answering questions and any other office related tasks that might be needed. Office Assistants are needed Sunday – Friday.

Show Assistance: Show volunteers will be needed to assist the announcer, help line up classes, and various other jobs to keep the show running smoothly.

Communications: Communications volunteers will provide a variety of assistance to the announcer, photograher/videographer, etc.
