Interest in being a future fellow?
When we are applying for future funding for this project, we are hoping to expand who is eligible to be a Fellow. If you are interested in being a future Fellow, but would not have qualified under the original requirements, we would like to know that. Here is the list of original requirements for the Fellows:

- Attend two in-person trainings and co-facilitate one in-person pilot workshop with a critical conversation specialist. (Note: travel funds are covered by the program.)

- Attend regularly scheduled meetings between 10am and 6pm in the eastern time zone.

- Earned at least an MS degree in any physics or physics-related field. Individuals in subfields outside of physics education research are strongly encouraged to apply.

- Holds a permanent academic appointment at a four-year college/university setting and have taught college-level physics in the last three years. Tenure-track faculty and instructors on long-term contracts are welcome to apply.

- Maintains an active physics teaching load, defined as at least 0.5 FTE (including labs and summer teaching), throughout the duration of the grant. Teaching as part of substantial outreach programs can also count towards maintaining active teaching engagement during the grant period.

- Holds an expressed and growing commitment to integrating EDI principles to enhance the classroom experience and learning environment.

- Has experience in facilitating one or more workshops related to physics content, physics education, EDI, and/or other professional development.

Are there any barriers to participating based on the eligibility criteria we are currently using that you would like us to reconsider?
Feel free to briefly elaborate on relevant items here.
If you do not teach at the post-secondary level, please indicate your teaching level(s).
Please elaborate on your answers above and/or provide any other information that you think would be helpful for the leadership team to consider when we apply for a future grant to hopefully continue this project.
