Miramonte Neighborhood Clean Up            Saturday May 8th
Thank you for joining the effort to Save our Saguaros and restore our Living River by participating in the Heritage Project Buffelgrass pull!

This event will be spread between 3 drop-in locations along the Heritage Project reach of the Santa Cruz on Sunday, January 31st from 9 am - 11 am.

Location #1 on S Santa Cruz Lane: (32.202611, -110.988071)

*If you are turning onto S Santa Cruz Lane from Silverlake Rd you will drive up Santa Cruz Ln less than a quarter of a mile until you see the Buffelgrass Pull sign on the left side of the road.
*If you are turning onto S Santa Cruz Ln from Star Pass Blvd drive down half a mile until you reach the sign on the right side of the road.

Location #2:  on the right of way of S Grande Ave, across the river from Desert Survivors (32.208466, -110.989071)

Location #1: Mission Garden Parking Lot - left side of road at the end of W Mission Lane (32.214468, -110.985532)

We will be abiding by Covid-19 precautions at this event - a mask is required, clean gloves will be provided!
Please remember to bring a reusable water bottle and sun protection!
All family members are welcome! - children must accompanied by a parent or guardian to attend.

Possible Risks: I understand and agree the participating event will include the following activities, each of which has the potential risk noted below, as well as other risks commonly associated with the activities; All participants will follow Covid guidelines. A mask is required, distance between participants will remain at 6' or more. If you feel sick, stay home.  1. Closed-toe shoes/boots and leather/thick rubber gloves are required. It is highly recommended to wear long pants, long sleeve shirts, hat and sunscreen. 2. Drink plenty of fluid to stay hydrated.   3. If you need rest or do not feel well, tell your team leader and take appropriate action.   4. Watch for traffic, equipment and uneven surfaces.   5. Please yield to the right-of-way to pedestrians and bicyclists on sidewalks/trails/roads 6. Watch for rattlesnakes, dogs, scorpions, other wildlife and the hazards they create.  7. If you encounter used hypodermic needles or other drug paraphernalia, please notify your team leader immediately so they can properly dispose of. Report any hazards or injuries to yourself or others to your team leader immediately.
