The recently expanded Department of Computational Medicine will be a hub of scientific discovery in biological and mathematical data sciences, with a focus on advancing patient care.  Join the department’s faculty and leadership of the schools of medicine and engineering to celebrate the name change, meet the faculty, and learn about the department's ambitious goals.

The event is on November 18th from 3-5pm.

The event will feature Daniel Tward, the newest faculty recruit in Computational Medicine, who will give a talk titled “A personalized computational model of brain structure.”

Learn about the AI in Medicine @ UCLA Program highlighting progress in collaboration with the UCLA Health system and the Department of Anesthesiology on predicting surgery outcomes.
