This is the registration form to sign up as a mentee in the Graduate Application Mentorship Program (GradAMP). Please note that GradAMP is only available to undergraduate students who are ACTIVELY applying to PhD and/or Master's programs THIS APPLICATION SEASON (2023-2024).

GradAMP pairs together students applying to graduate school (mentees) with a PhD student mentor in their research field in order to help them through the application process. The graduate application process can be very alienating and daunting, particularly for underrepresented, low-income, first generation, or international students, who are less likely to have the same social resources as someone more familiar with the application process. GradAMP was started in hopes of bridging that divide in order to help make higher education more accessible to any and all students.

As a mentee, you will be assigned 1 graduate student mentor (ideally from the same field of study or research specialization as you). They will be expected to help you with both the concrete aspects (e.g., essay editing, fellowship applications, mock interviews, resume reviews) as well as the abstract aspects (e.g., general advice, deadline setting, time management). 

This information in this form will be used for the mentor-mentee pairing process. If you are accepted and paired as a part of GradAMP, please note that you will be expected to participate in a post-program survey inquiring about the results of your application.
