Real Estate Alignment Pilot - Statement of Interest
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Pilot Effort to Align Development Processes with Community Values and Local Climate, Health, and Equity Priorities. This initiative is supported with generous funding from the American Institute of Architects Upjohn Research Initiative.
The goal of the pilot is to identify new approaches for streamlining the real estate development process by bringing the question of how a proposed project advances community goals around climate, health, and equity into the public approval process.
Eligibility Requirements
- Any stakeholder involved in an early stage real estate development project is eligible to submit a statement of interest. However, please note that the final application must include statements of support from at least one representative from each of the following stakeholder groups: local permitting/building codes enforcement department, real estate development team, community group engaged in conversation about the proposed development.
- Early stage real estate developments of any size located within the U.S. are eligible to participate in the pilot.
*Please note that the conversations facilitated through the Real Estate Alignment Pilot are entirely voluntary and non-binding. Participation in the pilot places the proposed development project under no obligation to implement the recommendations resulting from the workshop.
