This award recognises rural cultural organisations and performing companies who show a commitment to improving equality of opportunity for all sections of the population in the practice, appreciation and enjoyment of the arts.
Did the company show commitment to encouraging individuals or groups from the most deprived areas to further their careers?
Have they made improvements to make rural touring more accessible to everyone, regardless of their ability?
