Spanish Immersion Application                  2020-2021
Applications are now being accepted for incoming 2020-2021 Kindergarten students interested in attending the district's Spanish Immersion Program at Barksdale Elementary School.  Applications are due February 21, 2020.

Space in the program is limited.  A lottery will be held for all students who have submitted an application by February 21, 2020.  As a part of the application process, students will be screened to determine if early literacy benchmarks have been met prior to enrollment.  You may submit an application after the deadline, however, your child will be placed on a waitlist.

Parents of students selected through the lottery will be notified and asked to confirm commitment to the Spanish Immersion Program by April 3, 2020.  In the event of joint custody, both legal guardians must sign the commitment letter.
