The Palgrave Encyclopaedia of Public Policy and Public Administration in the Global South: Abstract Submission
This encyclopedia provides comprehensive coverage of current developments in public policy and public administration as fields of study and government practice in the global South. It contains distinct empirical, methodological, and theoretical essays on practical and normative transformations and underlying trajectories that have emerged in Asian, Latin American, and African public policy and administration in recent decades. It puts together a unique scholarship, bringing together all generations of scholars from different regions in the Global South to explore and examine public policy, public administration, and governance dynamics in developing countries.  The focus is mainly on those countries still dealing with development and democratisation challenges or those states that are yet to overcome colonial legacies.

Tayarisha Centre is editing four Thematic Sections of the Encyclopaedia and invites interested authors to submit abstract towards proposing contributions in the potential formats we are accepting: Academic papers (journal standards, with a sound methodology and/or framework or theory, as well as data analysis and discussions); Short essays which can be practice papers/research reports/case studies; or Conceptual papers on emerging issues in the field. Accepted abstracts will be invited to submit full contributions in due course which will go through peer review. The intention is for the first Encyclopaedia volume to be published in 2025. The first call deadline is June 7th, 2023.
