2024 Season Cannons Travel Baseball Try-Outs

LOCATION:   Home of the Cannons - Oak Valley Middle School - 4200 White Oak Trail Commerce Twp, MI 48382

                  8U -  Spots full, please register to be considered for the future
                  9U -   We will not have a 9U team for this season.  
                  10U - Still looking for an additional player or two, contact us for a private workout
                  11U - Sunday August 6th 5:00 PM Field #5

                  15U - Two teams, 15U Elite looking for 1 more player, 15U Woodward looking for a couple of players

Notes:  
• Please do not coach your kid while he / she is on the field
• Bring your catching gear if your kid is a catcher or wants to be considered for catching
• There will be a question and answer session with the head coach for 15 minutes after the time for your age group, please hold your questions until then or ask the volunteers at the check in table.  
• Try outs will last the entire time listed above
• If you would like your player to try out for multiple age groups (playing up), register in the correct age group and notify the check in staff about trying out for multiple age groups.

What to bring:   Glove, Helmet, Bat, Catching Gear if you have it, water bottle

What happens next?  You will be contacted within 3 days if you are selected for the team.  You will have 24 hours to accept your spot and provide a non refundable check which will be due by within 24 hours.


What if I want to try to make a team in an older division?  Feel free to attend both your regular age group and the age group above that you would like to try out for.  

What if I cannot make the time noted below?  Register anyway and contact the coach below.  

Will there be multiple teams in age groups, i.e. two 9U teams, etc?  Potentially, based on try out turn out and other factors within our organization.  We will only add additional teams in each age group if it meets our organization goals.  We will not add a second team simply to add a second team.  12U will have multiple teams, as well 14U and 15U.  Other age divisions may depending on interest / coaching availability.

Do the Cannons have a Cooperstown Certificate?  Yes, each 12U team will go to Cooperstown Dreams Park through our Cannons Organization Grandfather Certificate.
