2-day Online Training (Delivered via Zoom)

October 16, 2020 & October 23, 2020    
(9:00am-4:00pm each day)

Practice-based Coaching (PBC) doesn't always require an expert coach! Reciprocal peer coaching involves peers coaching each other using the PBC model. In order to be successful with reciprocal peer coaching, you need:
     *  Two practitioners who are at similar levels of practice.
     *  Time for meetings, where both practitioners will do action planning and reflection and feedback
         (approx. 2-3 hours per month per person)
     *  Classroom coverage for practitioners to conduct focused observations (approximately 2-3 hours per month
         per person) OR video cameras to conduct focused observations
     *  Someone to support the process, providing accountability and resources as needed                  

We will cover the process for PBC using reciprocal peer coaching. Participants will practice action planning, conducting focused observation, and reflection and feedback. This training includes all of the forms that peer coaches will need.

Pre-requisites:
Preschool Pyramid Model Module 1 & 2 and/or Infant/Toddler Pyramid Model Module 1 & 2

Who Should Attend:
Practitioners who will be engaging in reciprocal peer coaching (both peer partners) AND coaches or administrators who will be supporting the reciprocal peer coaching process should attend.

Priority will be given to practitioners and partners participating in iSocial. Non-iSocial  practitioners are welcome to register and will receive registration confirmation on or after September 28, 2020 pending available seats in the training.
