Southern Illinois Food Security Summit 2024
More than 45,000 southern Illinoisans struggle with having enough food to eat and rely on local food pantries, summer meal programs, senior meal sites, and other programs to meet their food needs. This Summit will increase communication and collaboration among southern Illinois business, schools, healthcare, farmers, religious and community organizations, and community members to address food insecurity in the lower 16 counties of Illinois.
This year's conference builds upon the huge response from the 2021, 2022 & 2023 summits.
This conference requires registration and a fee of $20.00 per person. The fee covers conference expenses and a box lunch. A limited supply of lunch's will be available at the door and will be $30
