EV 22-23 Non-Academic Survey Parent Opt In
Due to HB 2567, USD 283 is required to receive parent consent for each non-academic survey during the school day that contains questions about personal and private attitudes, values, beliefs, or practices of the students or any of the student's families, friends or peers.  

Each survey administered during the school year is located on the district website under public information. A copy of a particular survey can also be requested through the main office.

Each of the following non academic surveys will be administered between March 2023 and May 2023.

You will need to complete one non-academic opt in survey for each of the student(s) that you have enrolled in USD 283 in grades 3-12.

Based on the guidance of HB 2567, grades K-2 will not be completing any non-academic surveys during the school day that contains questions about personal and private attitudes, values, beliefs, or practices of the students or any of the student's families, friends or peers.

School Perception Survey of Students is a survey that is used to better understand the way our students view our school.  It has multiple questions where students are asked to rate items such as school safety, course offerings, staff planning, etc. on a scale of strongly agree to strongly disagree.
