Welcome to the official application to join Team Bay Area and compete in the 2023 Maccabi Games in Israel July 5 to 25, 2023, where more than 1,000 Jewish teens from JCCs and communities across North America and around the world will come together to experience the magic of JCC Maccabi in Israel.

In order to reserve a spot for your athlete to compete in the 2023 Maccabi Games in Israel, please fill out the application below. In order to compete in Israel, all teens must be between the ages of 14-17 years old as of July 25, 2023. All applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Note that due to international travel, spots are limited this summer and we cannot guarantee spots as we will have a much smaller delegation. If you have any questions, please check out our FAQ. The Maccabi Games 2023 will be in Israel from July 5-25, 2023. It is forbidden for an athlete to leave early and/or arrive late. Please confirm your athlete's availability: *

The total cost for the Maccabi Games is $7500. If families have not received a RootOne voucher before, they will receive a $3,000 stipend, reducing the total cost to $4500.

Financial Aid: Athletes will need to register as an athlete for Team Bay Area first. Once registered, please email Brianna Sommer, briannas@jcceastbay.org for the financial aid application. We will do our best to support you and your teen(s).

Any athlete seeking financial aid is highly encouraged to apply for the national scholarship available through JCC Maccabi. Please visit jccmaccabigames.org/richard-cohen-memorial-scholarship/ for more information on the Richard Cohen Memorial JCC Maccabi scholarship.
