Jupiter Moon Ice Cream is based in St. Joseph, MN that produces hand-crafted, small-batch, artisan ice cream. We are dedicated to finding the best ingredients, making the best ice cream, and bringing the community together through the wonder and celebration of ice cream.

We’re a small, hard-working crew who’s focused on continually developing our best version of ice cream, perfecting the recipes that have become our signatures, improving our operations, and serving our community.

REQUIREMENTS

Cheerfully interacting with customers and providing excellent customer service
Scooping orders and assembling specialty menu items
Completing opening & closing procedures
Using Square point of sale software to accurately take orders
Learning about Jupiter Moon's business model & products and being able to correctly provide this information to customers
Working with the shop team & owner to maintain a clean & safe atmosphere and an efficient workflow, especially during significantly high-traffic times
Requirements -

Must have Wednesday-Sunday afternoon-evening availability with occasional weekday availability for pre-scheduled deep cleaning, meetings, and training.
Must be at least 18 and have reliable transportation to our Mt. Airy shop
Must be on time for all shifts
Must be passionate about ice cream & desserts
Must have an enthusiastic, positive, kind, can-do, professional, hard-working attitude and enjoy working as part of a team
Must have excellent communication & listening skills in order to correctly enter and fulfill orders
Must be outgoing and a people person
Must provide excellent customer service and care about the quality of our products and the customer experience
Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, and also be motivated & self-directed to take on side work during down time
Must follow opening & closing task lists & work cleanly and efficiently, complying with food safety standards
Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time and perform repetitive physical tasks
Although ice cream experience is not necessary, prior food service experience is highly preferred
ServSafe Certification or a Philly Food Safety Certificate is preferred
All candidates will be asked to work 2 paid trial shifts
