Exhibition Space Description
Boston Art Book Fair 2024 — our sixth! — will once again fill the historic Cyclorama of Boston Center for the Arts with artists and exhibitors working with printed material and multiples in many forms. Exhibitors will be located under one spectacular dome, with related programs taking place across the South End campus of BCA!

Please select one of the following table options below:

FOREWORD (15-20 Exhibitors) -- Designated for larger publishers, galleries and artist projects, situated prominently in the main Cyclorama Rotunda. At this level, you receive one 6 foot wide table, use of wall space behind your table (approx. 6 feet wide by 10 feet high), and two chairs. Note that some restrictions will apply in use of walls. Includes premium sponsorship opportunities and visibility in the form of promotion on select digital and printed materials and additional comp guest tickets for VIP opening reception.

INDIE (20-25 Exhibitors) -- Designated for small to mid-size publishers, galleries and artist projects, situated in Cyclorama Side Salon and either side of Cyclorama Rotunda. At this level, you receive one 6 foot wide table, use of wall space behind your table (approx. 6 feet wide by 10 feet high), and two chairs; some restrictions will apply in use of walls.

Applicants may also select one half of an INDIE level table, which includes half of a shared 6 foot wide table, use of wall space behind your table (approx. 3 feet side by 10 feet high), and one chair.  As with the full INDIE level tables, some restrictions will apply in use of walls.

ZINE/ARTIST (60-80 Exhibitors) -- Designated for individual artist projects and publishers who are focused on zine and other smaller scale publications, situated throughout the Cyclorama. At this level, you receive one 6 foot wide table and two chairs.  Tables at the Zine/Artist level do not include walls.

Applicants may also select one half of a ZINE/ARTIST level table, which includes half of a shared 6 foot wide table, and one chair.  As with the full ZINE/ARTIST level tables, no wall is included.

SPECIAL NOTES
  • At each table level, if you intend to have more than two individuals staffing your full table, or more than one individual staffing your half table at any given time during the fair, you must apply for an additional table or tables as needed.  No more than two individuals can staff a full table at one time; no more than one individual can staff a half table at one time.
  • There is a two table limit for any artist, institution or organization participating in the fair.

Programming Proposals (Workshops, Signings, Performances, etc.)
We present a series of public programs and workshops over the course of the fair, as well as programming during our opening night preview and book signings throughout the fair.  The selection process for these programs is quite competitive, but we will try to accommodate as many signings as we can.

Let us know if you have something you'd like to present.
Optional: Other exhibitors you would like as neighbors?
Emerging Book Arts Exhibitor Fund:  If this would be your FIRST TIME participating in the Boston Art Book Fair, you may apply to have the cost of a shared Zine/Artist level table waived.

If you fit that criteria please provide additional information about your eligibility, and tell us more about what you propose to bring to Boston Art Book Fair 2024, in the space below.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Applicants will be notified of whether they have been accepted by Friday, July 19, 2024; tables are not assured until Exhibitor Agreement has been fully executed and full payment has been received by Boston Center for the Arts. Full refunds cannot be made, however if Exhibitor notifies BCA by September 30, 2024, 50% refund will be made.  Refunds will not be made if Exhibitor notifies BCA of non-participation after that date.
