2024 Music Mentor Network Summer Music Camp Scholarship Nominations
Music Mentor Network has funding to help four public school music students attend approved summer music camp programs. The maximum amount to be awarded to any one student is $250. 

The nomination process will close at 11:59 PM on Friday, April 26, 2024. Scholarship winners will be notified on or before 11:59 PM on Friday, May 10, 2024. Funds will be dispersed on or before Friday, May 17, 2024. Funds will only be released to a school or a 501(c)3 music education-missioned organization that can serve as the fiscal sponsor to receive funds on behalf of the student.

To be considered, nominees must be submitted by a sponsoring music educator on behalf of the student and must provide the sponsoring organization information. Sponsoring music educators may submit nominations for multiple students. 

Student nominees: 
  • must be currently enrolled in a music ensemble at their public school. 
  • will submit a solo audition video recording. 
  • will write a personal essay.
  • will provide a letter of recommendation from their current music teacher.

There is a five-minute time limit, so excerpts of longer pieces are appropriate. The performance does not have to be memorized.
