This group will be similar to the Play, Learn and Discover group; however, it will be geared more to the younger children.  We will do a short circle time with a story and songs.  We will have parachute play and use other tools as well.  Great fun!  This is geared towards children ages 0-3, however exceptions will be made and siblings of course are always welcome!

Play, Learn and Discover Groups
Where: Kittredge Elementary School
When: Wednesday’s and Fridays – 9:30-11:00

You and your child/children are invited to join us at our weekly play, learn and discover groups.
Wouldn’t you like to come to a place where you and your child can interact in a safe, developmentally appropriate, fun, socially stimulating and exciting way?
Meet new children and other parents looking for the same thing as you.
What will we do?
Activities will be done in a friendly age appropriate way to introduce literacy, writing, math, science and of course it will all be offered in the preschool classroom while the children are playing and socializing.
You are welcome to attend as many of the groups as you would like.  Repetition is very important to children and that is how they successfully master skills.

All children are welcome to attend these activities and you as your child’s first teacher will know when your child has had enough or not quite ready for a certain activity.

I would like you to do more of....
I have completed the Ages and Stages developmental tool for my child/children within the last year.                   The easy to use Ages and Stages developmental tool is a questionnaire for anyone (the parent/guardian) to complete (online/paper/pencil).  The questionnaire you complete is determined by your child’s date of birth.  The tool can be used for children ages 2 months up until 5 yrs and 5 months old.  The tool covers five developmental areas such as gross motor (movement) and communication (language skills), fine motor, problem solving and personal-social.   Once the questionnaire is submitted to me we can move ahead.  We will discuss the results. This tool is for anyone to complete!  You will receive new and exciting ideas you can do with your child/children that are age appropriate while practicing new and old skills.   This tool also helps guide me in my programming to provide necessary skills to all of the children in a fun and exciting way!                                                                                 Link:  https://www.asqonline.com/family/096b55 *
