Description of Presentation (100 words or less): Please craft your session to be interactive, actionable, and fun. Describe applicable best practices, STW criteria, research, and results. Ensure wording and grammar are correct as this description will appear in the conference program book. Example: Want a plan to build stronger relationships with students and staff members? Would you like to improve engagement, attendance, and retention in your school? In this interactive session, you'll see how Golden Middle School used the Schools to Watch social equity domain, CASEL's five competencies, and John Hattie's research as guides to generate a 34% increase in student belonging and a 26% improvement in staff retention over three years. All members of a school community need to feel they belong and are seen for who they are! Leave with effective strategies and resources for your school.
