COVID-19 Community Relief Fund
San Juan United Way has established the Community Response & Recovery Fund to meet the short term, immediate needs, of individuals and families that will be impacted by COVID-19 as well as the long term impacts that have yet to be seen. The purpose of this fund is to quickly deploy resources to local organizations that are offering emergency relief to people in need. We also acknowledge that the needs of our community will continue to evolve and grow over time. As a result, we anticipate having multiple waves of funding over the next several months to meet these needs.

To be considered for funding, organizations must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit providing direct assistance to people in San Juan County, NM during the COVID-19 crisis.

SJUW is committed to providing immediate support to as many organizations as possible. As a result, most grant amounts will be in the $1,000 - $5,000 range.
Applications may be submitted on a rolling basis. We will do our best to respond within 10 businesses days of your submission if grant funding is available. Requests not immediately funded may be considered in the following weeks depending on available funding.
Recipients will provide a brief report after the conclusion of the grant that includes the type of service provided and number of individuals or households served. We will share your impact with our funding partners.
SJUW may share your request with funding partners to increase access for more available emergency funding.
