Meet The Instructor: Ivanna Dela Cruz is a college sophomore from the Philippines. She was in her early years in elementary when she realized she has an interest in writing. It was during her fifth grade when she first started as a campus journalist and joined her first-ever writing competition. After that, she knew she wanted to be a journalist someday. She started joining different writing competitions inside and outside her school where she won awards. Ivanna eventually became the Editor-in-Chief at her high school’s newspaper. To pursue her dream to become a journalist, she decided to major in broadcasting. Last year, in her university’s annual music video competition with a theme on press freedom, she’s one of the writers in one of the entries that won a few awards and lots of nominations!
