For income, we ask for your household's gross income, but it's ok to make your best guess. If you have a Housing Choice Voucher please select any home where the monthly cost is less than your voucher's payment standard. You can look at the form the city uses to calculate income here:

We will have a more rigorous process later where we will confirm income, debt levels, credit score etc and be able to offer a binding reservation. HUD will not allow you to purchase a share if your total debt is more than 50% of your income, or if the monthly housing costs are more than 40% of your income.

Coop ownership requires paying a share price up front. The share price is your contribution to equity in the project, and you back take your share of equity should you leave at a later point. The share price is still in flux as we don't know what our construction costs, grants, and interest rates are yet. We are also working on share grants and loans for people who would need assistance.
