Parkdale Art Wall inspired by Daniel Martelock is calling for artists

The Wellington West Business Improvement Area is looking for three new artists or art collectives to bring their talents to create outdoor public art murals on the Parkdale Park Art Wall, inspired by Daniel Martelock.

Artists will paint in public in a lively park setting on a mobile panel, which can then be removed and displayed in the park, and possibly “adopted” by local businesses for permanent installation and display elsewhere in the neighbourhood.

2. I understand that my artwork design must be appropriate to general public and must observe all applicable bylaws of the City of Ottawanot (i.e. not to be of political, religious, advertising or explicit content)

3. I understand that, if selected, I will be paid an artist honorarium a of $800 which is to cover materials and creation.

4. I understand that I am asked to create a mural on a primed 4x8 wooden panel, and I am responsible for purchasing my own materials

5. I understand that the Project may, in its sole discretion and at its own expense, take any action with respect to the artwork including its removal, replacement or restoration in whole or in part.
