What to Bring:

Wear comfortable clothing that you can layer on and off.
Bring writing paper and pen/pencil.
A small selection of beverages & snacks will be provided(including a few treats for dogs). Lunch is not supplied. Pack your own or visit the various options nearby if you prefer (Tim Hortons, Subway, Wendy's, Macleod Trail) during our scheduled lunch break.
Dogs are welcome if registered ONLY. There is a 4 dog per class maximum due to class size and will be accepted in order of registration. Dogs must be relatively calm, quiet, sociable with other dogs/people, and be willing to be handled for demonstrations. Please have all pets on a secure restraint (collar/harness & leash). While we cover cat first aid as well, we regret cats are unable to attend class for safety reasons.

NOTE: We reserve the right to send any dog home if s/he is felt to be disruptive or deemed unsuitable for the dynamics of the class. It is a long day for them so there will be many opportunities for short breaks.

Rest assured, your instructor Max, and Walks ‘N’ Wags Pet First Aid take the safety of students and instructors extremely seriously. We want you to feel safe in our classes and look forward to welcoming you.

This class size is limited to ensure ample physical distancing
You will be provided with a sanitized personal stuffed animal and first aid supplies to utilize throughout the course for hands-on activities.
If you are exhibiting ANY signs of COVID -19 or are feeling unwell DO NOT ATTEND. Contact your instructor immediately to discuss your options for attending the course at a later date.
If your instructor is ill the course will be postponed to a later date. All participants will be notified by the contact information provided.
Face masks are not required for this course. If you choose to wear a mask please bring your own. Vaccine passport is no longer required for entry into this course.
Good personal hygiene is our best defense against the spread of ANY illness including COVID-19. Please wash hands frequently. Hand sanitizer is also readily available.
