PowerUp 2021 - Mentor Sign-Ups
PowerUp is an initiative that provides free university application advice for students from grades 9-12 interested in biology and health-related programs. As a mentor, you will have the opportunity to meet online with mentees to discuss the application process, different programs, and career paths. If you are a university student and would like to run short meetings to help high schoolers with their applications, please sign up below! This is a fun way to share your expertise and meet new people.

PowerUp is co-organized by Prospective Medical Professionals (PuMP) and STEM Fellowship's STEMpowerment Program.

Mentors will conduct one-time virtual meetings (“coffee chats”) with mentees. Each meeting typically lasts between 30 and 45 mins.

If there are any extra details we should know about your schedule (such as some weeks you might not be able to mentor), please let us know! Scheduling will be very flexible and we are very happy to accommodate around your other commitments. You'll be assigned a list of mentees to meet during a given week, and you can meet with them at any time that works with your schedule.
