We are Grief to Action, an interdisciplinary working group at the University of Pittsburgh dedicated to amplify community voices working for racial and social justice. Our projects utilize a unique, practical approach to data science that blend community engagement with qualitative and quantitative methods. An initiative of the Center for Analytical Approaches to Social Innovation (http://caasi.pitt.edu) at GSPIA, we are composed of community members and students, staff, and faculty across multiple schools and universities (CMU, UC Berkeley, Duke, WUStL, Temple, Tufts, UMN).

We work primarily on Slack and meet on Zoom every week on Friday at 12pm EST. An invitation to our Slack channel, Zoom link, and a volunteer guide will be sent to the email you use to register. The email will be sent from caasi@pitt.edu.
