Sayadaw U Kovida 果維達尊者
Sayadaw U Kovida was born in 1976, Myanmar. He was a Samanera in 1990 and was later ordained at Mahāvisutārāma Monastery in 1996. From 2000-2003, he studied Buddhism at Ma-soe-yein-teikthit in Mandalay, and awarded the prestigious title of Sasanadhaja-Dhammacariya. He then started teaching Buddhist Scriptures from 2003 to 2004 at the same monastery. He started teaching meditation in April, 2008 at Pa-Auk Tawya Meditation Center (Main), Mawlamyine, in Myanmar.
Sayadaw U Kovida is fluent in Burmese and English. He has been conducting meditation retreats in foreign countries including Korea (2010),Latvia (2010), and Malaysia (2013). He also gave Dhamma talks in many countries - Singapore (2010, 2018), Malaysia (2011, 2013, 2017), China, Taiwan (2013, 2018), Indonesia (2013), and Thailand (2015). Sri Lanka (2015), Vietnam (2016, 2017, 2018), USA (2018),India(2018) and Canada (2018).
果維達尊者出生於1976年。14歲時出家成為沙彌。於1996年，在薩林鎮的Mahāvisutārāma寺院受出家具 足戒成為比丘。1990年至1999年，尊者在Mahavisutarama 寺院修學三藏。2000年至2003年，尊者繼續在 Ma-soe-yein 寺院深造並榮獲Sasanadhaja-Dhammacariya (法師)頭銜。之後尊者在Ma-soe-yein寺院教授三藏。於2008年4月，果維達尊者正式成為帕奧禪林的業處導師。之後，尊者在毛淡棉帕奧禪林總部教導 無數的當地及外國禪修者。尊者通曉緬語及英語。除了教導禪修，尊者也教授三藏，巴利文，緬文等。
果維達尊者有豐富的海外教學經驗。尊者常受邀到各地如韓國(2010年)，拉脫維亞(2010年)和馬來西亞 (2013年)等地指導止觀禪法。此外，尊者也受邀到新加坡(2010年，2018年)，馬來西亞(2011年，2013年，2017年)，中國，台灣(2013年，2018年)，印尼 (2013年)，和泰國(2015年)，斯里蘭卡(2015年), 越南(2016年，2017年，2018年)，美國（2018年），加拿大（2018年)，印度（2018年）等各地弘法。
