Thank you for signing up for this fun, Bird Friendly event hosted by Lions Bay author and birdhouse builder, Rod Baker! It's for kids aged 4 and older. If your child/children are between 4 and 10 years old, we ask that an adult be there to help them, otherwise feel free to wander around the exhibits and grab a tea/coffee while your kiddos are busy.

Since we only have 10 handmade kits, please limit your family's participation to a maximum of 2 kids per household. The kits are made by Rod here in LB from repurposed wood that would otherwise end up in the landfill.

Kits are pre-cut, pre-drilled and come with the necessary fasteners. They can be painted the colour of your choice at home (Rod will provide some tips on this). Consider bringing a number 8 Robertson screwdriver with you; one will be provided at each table, but you may have to share.

Each participating kiddo will receive a Bird Friendly activity book to take home with them!

The session starts at 9.30am in the Village hall: Please arrive at 9.15 am so that we can start building at 9.30! Check in at the door. The cost is $5 per child, payable by etransfer when your booking is confirmed. Tnx!
