An equity officer is a member of the club who will work with the committee to ensure the Rotaract Club of Toronto remains a safe and equitable space for people of all walks of life. An Equity officer will work to uphold the Rotary Codes of conduct and Rotaract Club of Toronto's equity and harassment policies with help of the committee.

Equity Officer will be responsible, with other equity committee members, for:
    - making themselves available to receive equity or harassment complaints from members
    - investigate complaints of harassment or inequitable treatment
    - recommend appropriate action to the board based on the conclusion of the complaint investigation
    - report about Harassment and Equity issues to the club at the annual general meeting
    - organize equity training for the club's membership
    - upholding the high standards of conduct in the Rotaract Club of Toronto

The committee as a whole will be trained in equity and harassment policies as well as mediation and investigation techniques.
