Faced with the difficult decision of how to safely educate our children in the year to come the Religious Education staff, along with Fr. Denis and Diocesan leaders, has been going through all of the scenarios for CREED and Rise for the 2020-2021 academic year.  It is our conclusion that there is no safe way to do this in a traditional classroom setting given our current global health crisis so we will NOT be holding in-person classes this year for grades PreK-8.  

One alternate approach to faith formation is the whole family catechesis model where families practice their faith together at home.  Our vision became one of developing strong Catholic families in which children learn the joys of following Jesus Christ through the witness of Christian life given by their parents.  

We are excited to introduce the start of a new family centered ministry called LIFT – Living in Faith Together.  LIFT is created in the belief that parents are the primary educators of their children in the Catholic faith.  At Baptism, the Church asks parents if they accept the responsibility to form their child in the practice of the faith.  We are hopeful LIFT will empower parents to do just that – give them the tools and confidence to live out that promise!
