3:45pm: Trunk Set-up // 4:00pm: Trunk or Treating will begin!
Each year, we invite church members, friends in the community, and families to decorate a trunk and hand out candy as we create a fun event for our kids to trick or treat right in our parking lot! If you have kids that would like to dress up but you don't feel like decorating a trunk, no problem. Here is a run down of our plans:
If you plan to decorate a trunk, we ask you to arrive before 4pm so we can coordinate and organize the cars appropriately in the parking lot. If you'd like to just arrive in costumes for the "trunk or treating" part of our event, a 4pm arrival time is fine! Once all of our cars are set up, we invite those dressed in costumes to "trick or treat" up to each vehicle, and those who are at their cars will be able to give out candy. So, bring a bag to collect if your kiddos are dressing up, and if you are planning to be a stop as one of our trunks, be sure to remember to bring some candy with you to pass out. We also have a gas gift card prize for the "best trunk"!
Additionally, we will have chalk/bubbles for kids to play with after they've collected candy, we will be having a cookout of hot dogs, chips and snacks, and we will even get to hear some music from our children's choir leaders, Tim Byrer and Erin Angel! We hope to see you there :)
