The Santa Cruz Jewish Genealogy Society (SCJGS) is dedicated to sharing genealogical information, techniques and research tools with those who are interested in researching and preserving their Jewish roots.

Ancestral Research Information
Once a SCJGS member, you will have the option to add your ancestral surnames, towns, and countries to our community Ancestral Spreadsheet located on our Google Drive.  Our spreadsheet also collects our individual brick walls and research challenges as a way. of creating support and building community.  You are welcome to add your information below.  Once we receive your membership information and fees you will be sent the link to our Ancestral Spreadsheet.  
Which Countries of Origin are you Researching?  Do you know the specific towns. One country or town per line.

Brick walls and challenges:  It would be helpful to know more about your ancestral brick walls as we develop our programs.

Privacy notice: SCJGS does not actively collect or save any personal identifying information about members beyond your name and email address and we strive to keep that information secure from outside view.  To that end we require SCJGS members to agree to not  forward or share personal identifying information about other members (e.g., email addresses, family names, personal stories...) without their explicit permission beforehand.  That said, members should be aware that any personal information that they voluntarily share in group exchanges via email or social media are only as secure as the platforms used.  Therefore, do not post information that you wish to keep private.  Please indicate your agreement to these conditions below.
