Free National Workshop on HOLOS-IE: An Advanced Digital Tool for Assessing and Planning Climate-Resilient, Carbon-Neutral Farming

We are excited to announce a free national workshop introducing the preliminary prototype of HOLOS-IE, a comprehensive agricultural systems-based digital platform/model, and the project is funded by Science Foundation Ireland through the Government of Ireland and the European Commission Resilient and Recovery Facility, and collaborated by Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine through ERA-NET.
Align with the Climate Action Plan and the EU Green Deal, our mission is to revolutionise agricultural land use planning including agroforestry to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 using the HOLOS-IE.
Join us as we explore alternative land use and management practices and cutting-edge technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, enhance carbon sequestration, imrpove soil health & agrobiodiversity, introduce a circulary economy, and take strategic measures to minimise carbon footprint at farm level, ultimately achieving NET ZERO emissions.
