(Sorry, we used too much English this week!  Next week will be more Spanish.  This will always be the second question on the homework.) *

Amiga del día
For the next few weeks, we'll "feature" a new friend each week in Spanish class.  We will always talk about what that perso HAS (tiene)--hair color, eye color, what that person LIKES (le gusta), what that person IS like (es), and what that person WANTS (quiere).

Each week's assignment will be a little different.  By now, we are getting used to the vocabulary.   This week, you will write what each sentence means in English.  If you forget what a word means, go back and check our list on the blog.
Eleanor tiene pelo castaño. *
Eleanor tiene pelo no muy largo, no muy corto. *
Eleanor tiene ojos azules-verdes-grises. *
A Eleanor, le gustan los gatos. *

Bonus Question!!  Eleanor said she didn't want blue hair for a long time.  What did she say about "just one day"?  What color(s) hair would she have?
