CAMP DATES/TIMES:
Monday, August 5 through Thursday, August 8th

AGES:
Incoming 3rd-5th grade & 6th-8th grade.

CAMP I:  
Time:  8:30am-12:00pm
Location: Roosevelt High School Gym     
Grades:  Incoming 3rd, 4th, and 5th (Fall 2024)

CAMP II:  
Time:  1:00pm-5:00pm
Location: Roosevelt High School Gym     
Grades:  Incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th (Fall 2024)

Roosevelt High School Gym 1410 NE 66th Street  Seattle, WA 98115 (entrance off 12th Ave NE)

COST:
Cost for Camp I [3rd - 5th] is: $175  (payment via Venmo or Check)

Cost for Camp II  [6 - 8th grade] is: $220  (payment via Venmo or Check)

WHAT TO BRING:
Wear athletic clothing and athletic shoes plus bring knee pads if you have them. Bring a water bottle and snacks! Please take off any loose jewelry each day of camp.

ABOUT CAMP: 
THE ROOSEVELT YOUTH SUMMER VOLLEYBALL CAMP IS A SAFE AND FUN ENVIRONMENT FOR STUDENT ATHLETES TO LEARN THE GAME OF VOLLEYBALL, IMPROVE THEIR VOLLEYBALL SKILLS, GAIN NEW FRIENDS AND HAVE LOTS OF FUN! THE CAMP IS STAFFED BY HEAD COACH JANNA TONAHILL AND ASSISTANT COACH MARCI CLARK PLUS RHS ALUMNI AND VETERAN PLAYERS.  

TOGETHER, COACH TONAHILL AND CLARK HAVE OVER 30 YEARS OF VOLLEYBALL COACHING EXPERIENCE.

THE CAMPERS WILL BE TRAINED IN ALL AREAS OF THE GAME INCLUDING:

  • SERVING
  • HITTING
  • BLOCKING
  • PASSING
  • SETTING
  • AND DEFENSE
  • WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO FOCUS ON SKILLS OF THEIR CHOOSING

CAMP IS GREAT FOR ALL LEVELS! DURING CAMP THERE WILL BE OPPORTUNITIES TO BREAK OUT BY SKILL LEVEL TO MAKE SURE ALL CAMPERS GET WHAT THEY WANT AND NEED OUT OF CAMP. CAMPERS WILL LEAVE WITH KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE GAME, INFORMATION ABOUT FURTHER VOLLEYBALL OPPORTUNITIES, A T-SHIRT AND NEW FRIENDS!

Drop off and Pick up will be at the double door gym entrance located on the South side of the gym by the football field. The parking lot entrance is accessible via 12th Ave NE (one way only).
