Circle with Maurice Switzer
We are hosting a gathering for Indigenous students in grades 7-12 to come to St. James on Tuesday October 17 from 9:30-11:00am. Students who identify as First Nations, Metis or Inuit are invited to bring a friend from their school (do not have to identify as Indigenous).

Maurice will share his teachings about Wampum belts and the history of treaties and treaty relationships. There will also be drumming, food (lunch will be provided) and relationship building.

To have your student attend this session, please complete this google form and I will follow-up by email with you finalize the arrangements. We can arrange for transportation if needed.

If the student is under the age of 18, parent permission is required to attend . A permission form will be sent home with the student.
